Welcome to my blog, “The Dragon Dynasties.” As the blog name goes, this blog is dedicated to exploring the rich history of China and its people, who are often regarded as descendants of the Dragon.
In this blog, we will go through 5,000 years of Chinese history, starting from prehistoric times, through the Xia Dynasty (the first dynasty), and ending with the collapse of the Qing Dynasty (the last imperial dynasty of China).
There will be more than 20 historical dynasties and periods along this journey. I will focus and share on the most interesting stories from each dynasty, and while this may take some time to cover all the chapters, I believe we will expand our knowledge together.
Don’t worry; I promise this journey will be both entertaining and informative. In addition to the dynasties themselves, I will also share side stories about historical figures, fascinating places, and the customs and traditions of the people.
The blog will be organized into two main categories: (a) The Dynasties, covering over 20 historical dynasties and periods of China, and (b) The Legends, featuring the corresponding side stories.
