About Me

China has over 5000 years of history!

Why call the Chinese “Descendants of Dragon”?

Phrases like these have intrigued me since childhood, sparking my curiosity about China, its people, and ultimately, myself. They motivate me to learn more about the history of China and Chinese civilization.

Hello and welcome to my blog! My name is Mann.

Three generations ago, my great-grandfather immigrated from China. Although my family is part of a minority in my beloved country, we continue to practice the Chinese language, customs, and traditions in our daily lives. Yet, living far from China has made me eager to learn about the stories, figures, and philosophies that have shaped one of the world’s oldest civilizations.

For the past 20 years, I have passionately explored Chinese history—not just through books and timelines, but through the stories, struggles, and wisdom that have influenced generations. What began as a personal interest has evolved into a lifelong journey of discovery and reflection. My passion for Chinese history is something that continually enriches my life.

Now that I’ve entered my 50s, I feel a strong urge and sense of mission to share my insights with a broader audience. This blog will delve into the fascinating past of China and its people, encompassing history, traditions, customs, tales, and legends.

Dear readers, thank you for visiting. Whether you are a history enthusiast or simply curious, I invite you to join me on this journey to explore China’s 5,000 years of history and the legacy of the Descendants of the Dragon.
